I had the delight of hearing Elastigirl preach on that tough Gospel text Saturday night, and we wondered together (a good model for me).
What I took away was this:
"How do you face scary transitions?"
(head down, teeth clenched, full steam ahead, lalalalala here I GO...)
"What if you faced your next transition by throwing up your hands and crying,'Lord! Help me!"
(Oh...I could start out by kneeling, opening my hands, and saying, 'Lord, help me.'")
(I will try that today.)
