...when EVERYONE is getting ready to go on vacation, the tenor of a workplace changes greatly.
Like the week before Spring Break here (Mar. 10-14). We were all either planning to be away for a week, or planning on a pretty quiet week due to all the staff going on vacation (and ALL the students doing so).
But when NO ONE but you is getting ready to leave, nobody cares. They're all in their workaday modes and rushing around.
However, I am happy to say that from this point on, the next several items showing up in my Outlook calendar all say "RGBE" and I am so out of here!
Before I leave tomorrow, two things I must do:
- Pack my bag
- Take down the Christmas tree (I am not making this up).
See y'all on the flip side!
