We are in our third round of searching for a new leader for my unit. This week we have two candidates coming in, and one next week.
I am very honored and happy to be involved with the search committee process. Interviewing is so intense though...these folks come in the night before, dine with some search committee members, and then have an action-packed day on campus. I remember it well, when I came here to interview 11 years ago. It was a good thing the day was over when it was...I was all used up!
So I am praying for these candidates, for fortitude and strength, and also for everyone with whom they meet. And for my colleagues, as we prepare for the advent of a new leader.
