I've spent the early morning doing something unfamiliar and important and rather terrifying.
Afterward I felt like I was floating above my body. So I took a nap (I'd taken the whole morning off work, so that was okay).
Now I am back at work (end of lunchtime, afternoon) and I returned to three important grounding influences:
- Leftover coffee to be warmed up and drunk
- Pouring rain outside, and a window that opens, so I can hear it
- My co-worker's two grandsons - 2 years and 3 months old.
Thank God for caffeine, babies, and rain.
