Yesterday there were tremendous storms all across the middle of the country..."the Plains," they said on the news. Tornadoes, hail, flooding. All the way down to Central Texas.
Last night we were in bed watching TV and of course the storm warning kept BEEPing and running across the bottom of the screen to let us know about the flash flood warnings and watches, the severe thunderstorm warnings, etc.
We switched then to another channel and the little warnings were on the top left-hand side of the screen instead. Little boxes that showed, in alphabetical order, the different counties with the warning for each one.
I glanced up at one and was shocked to see this:
Del Taco
Severe Thunderstorms
I thought...WHAT!? The taco place has a warning all its own!?
Then it went away and the next one said,
Denton Co
Severe Thunderstorms
and I realized that the previous listing had been for DELTA COUNTY - Not Del Taco
Hee hee hee
