Passed this marker yesterday on my way home from weekend in the Hill Country.
We stayed in a gorgeous home in a pecan orchard, with the Frio River out the back door. This is the Frio Pecan Farm in Leakey, TX. Verizon phone service doesn't work there or for a hundred miles to the north. It was a very peaceful weekend!

The NaBloPoMo theme for May is Look Up! I did a lot of looking up this weekend...at trees, at stars, at clouds. I looked up to ask God for help for a friend in trouble, and for an unknown pair of bikers who were injured on the road.
I am trying to look up from my day-to-day and see my life.
