Songbird asked to see a photo of ME on the bike, so here you go.
Yes, Mom and Valerie and all my concerned friends, I have my helmet right there: on my left shoulder. And yes, I put it on EVERY time we ride anywhere. I had just gotten onto the bike in this photo.
Ken came home from work today in the late morning and said, "let's go ride." First we stopped at the Harley Davidson dealership in Corinth, where they have free hotdogs and beer and soda every Saturday. We met a guy named Bill and he rode down to the Carrollton location with us for another hotdog...a stop at Sneaky Pete's, a few errands on the way home and we were glad to get back into the AC. It was HOT!
Ken leaned back to me at one point and said, "I'm sure glad I'm riding instead of working!" I said, "Me, too!"
It is AMAZING how people (mostly men) react to this bike. It is a totally new configuration in the motor and people who are into motorcycles are really blown away by it.
This tickles Ken a lot. And, therefore, me too.
