Do you want to know what is wrong with this fireplacin' society?
Well, yesterday during class she was talking about listening to your own body and not being slavishly addicted to the charts. Because, she said, according to the standard height/weight charts, she is about 25 lbs. overweight.
Let me assure you, this woman is a hardbody. She is in AWESOME shape. She has muscles on her muscles. Overweight? I don't think so! She is petite in stature, probably 5'2".
I am NOT going to post a picture of me, but let me tell you that I, at 5'9", am about 20 lbs overweight, yet I am within acceptable weight range on those crazy charts...Trust me, I can most definitely "pinch an inch" and more, as they used to say on those old Special K commercials.
I say, get rid of the stinking charts! I just want to be able to tie my shoes without my, um, middle, getting in the way!
